[00:27] SPEAKER_01: I want to ask you just a couple of questions. [00:31] SPEAKER_01: Okay, Canada's podcast really believes in learning about people's entrepreneurial journey [00:38] SPEAKER_01: and passing that learning on. [00:40] SPEAKER_01: So, maybe you can tell us a little bit about what made you successful in that journey. [00:50] SPEAKER_00: Well, number one, what makes me successful is I live in this beautiful country. [01:00] SPEAKER_00: I live in Canada. [01:01] SPEAKER_00: I look at Canada as a land of opportunities. [01:06] SPEAKER_00: And the rest of it is taking a risk. [01:10] SPEAKER_00: It's a big one. [01:13] SPEAKER_00: In this days, when you look at the overall outlook of the people, [01:18] SPEAKER_00: everybody wants to have this and that, but nobody wants to take a risk. [01:23] SPEAKER_00: Or very few people want to sacrifice from their own comfort zone. [01:29] SPEAKER_00: Taking a risk, get out of your comfort zone and make a decision that something that you love, [01:37] SPEAKER_00: you have to have the passion. [01:40] SPEAKER_00: So, put those three things together, sprinkle a little bit hard work. [01:45] SPEAKER_00: When I say hard work, some people they say, oh, I work so hard today. [01:51] SPEAKER_00: It doesn't mean that person worked as hard as they think so. [01:56] SPEAKER_00: Hard work brings to me. [01:57] SPEAKER_00: You work harder than anybody else around you. [02:01] SPEAKER_00: Hard work, vision, take a risk. [02:04] SPEAKER_00: And you already have this setup on this beautiful country. [02:08] SPEAKER_00: And pull the block, make it happen. [02:11] SPEAKER_01: It's great advice. [02:13] SPEAKER_01: So, you've made it here. [02:17] SPEAKER_01: What's the unique quality that you have that got you here? [02:27] SPEAKER_00: I don't want to sound like a Debbie Downer, but I come from a very poor background. [02:34] SPEAKER_00: I lost my father when I was 13 years old. [02:38] SPEAKER_00: Sold later blouses on the market to make extra five bucks. [02:44] SPEAKER_00: And when I say later blouses, like really ugly color, later blouses, [02:49] SPEAKER_00: you really need to get creative to sell those blouses. [02:52] SPEAKER_00: Start from there, I guess what I'm trying to say is, [02:57] SPEAKER_00: failure of the life, it gives you strength to motivate you more. [03:03] SPEAKER_00: And gets you, you know, makes you get a little bit more creative. [03:09] SPEAKER_00: And if I was, you know, son of a Rockefeller, I wouldn't be here today. [03:16] SPEAKER_01: It's a fantastic insight. [03:19] SPEAKER_01: Thanks very much. [03:20] SPEAKER_01: And best of luck. [03:22] SPEAKER_01: Well, first of all, congratulations. [03:24] SPEAKER_01: I'm getting here anyway. [03:26] SPEAKER_01: And best of luck for the rest of the evening. [03:28] SPEAKER_00: Thank you. [03:29] SPEAKER_00: It's all nice to meet you.
