[00:00] SPEAKER_01: Welcome to Canada's podcast, the number one podcast for entrepreneurs by
[00:06] SPEAKER_00: entrepreneurs. Hi and welcome to Canada's podcast. I'm your host, Selene
[00:10] SPEAKER_00: Williams and today I have the pleasure of speaking with Nikki Ballou who is a
[00:17] SPEAKER_00: champion for free enterprise and entrepreneurs. He's the host of the number one
[00:21] SPEAKER_00: podcast in the world for thought leadership, the thought leader revolution, where
[00:25] SPEAKER_00: he's featured guests like Jack, Jack Canfield, who's the author of Chicken
[00:29] SPEAKER_00: Soup for the Soul, Brian Scudamore, the founder of 1-800-Gut Junk, and Barbara
[00:34] SPEAKER_00: Corcoran famously from the hit TV Theory Shark Tank. He's also the author of the
[00:40] SPEAKER_00: number one best-selling book, Finish Line Thinking, How to Think and When Like a
[00:44] SPEAKER_00: Champion, Nikki, thank you for joining me today. Selene, it's a total an
[00:49] SPEAKER_01: absolute honor and a pleasure to be here. Thank you for having me on. Absolutely.
[00:53] SPEAKER_00: I always enjoy talking to you, so I'm really excited to get to share this
[00:56] SPEAKER_00: conversation with our audience. I think it's going to be phenomenal. Let's do it.
[01:01] SPEAKER_00: So I want to start from a really simple place in the sense that because our
[01:05] SPEAKER_00: audience is really filled with entrepreneurs or people who are looking to
[01:08] SPEAKER_00: become entrepreneurs, I'd love to hear about your journey as an entrepreneur, what
[01:13] SPEAKER_00: got you to where you and really a thought leader because that's what you are,
[01:17] SPEAKER_00: but what got you from what was your sort of starting point to getting here? What
[01:26] SPEAKER_01: was going to be an immigrant to this country? My mom and dad or questions any
[01:31] SPEAKER_01: run and when the Islamic Revolution happened, the writing was on the wall. That
[01:35] SPEAKER_01: wasn't going to be a great place for us to be anymore. So they immigrated to
[01:39] SPEAKER_01: Canada and they brought us with them, which I'm eternally grateful. And my
[01:42] SPEAKER_01: father and my mother were both entrepreneurs. My father, in particular, as
[01:46] SPEAKER_01: proud as both, was sons. You know we fed 51 families this week, like ours in
[01:50] SPEAKER_01: the 50 others who were the families of the employees. And I just was
[01:56] SPEAKER_01: blown away by this man's heart, his love, his generosity.
[01:59] SPEAKER_01: He has literally lifted up hundreds,
[02:01] SPEAKER_01: if not thousands of people above the station,
[02:04] SPEAKER_01: they would have been on without him.
[02:06] SPEAKER_01: And I wanted to be like my dad, he was my hero,
[02:08] SPEAKER_01: he passed away in February,
[02:10] SPEAKER_01: and he's the greatest man I've ever known.
[02:12] SPEAKER_01: And to be like my father has always been
[02:16] SPEAKER_01: something that I've aspired to.
[02:17] SPEAKER_01: So that was where it was at for me.
[02:19] SPEAKER_01: And then philosophically in university,
[02:22] SPEAKER_01: I studied economics, I studied business,
[02:23] SPEAKER_01: and I studied political science,
[02:25] SPEAKER_01: and a good friend of mine introduced me to the works
[02:28] SPEAKER_01: of the philosophical novelist, Ine Rand,
[02:32] SPEAKER_01: who wrote the great seminal books,
[02:34] SPEAKER_01: the founding head, and Atlas Shrugged.
[02:36] SPEAKER_01: And she actually wrote a bunch of other really great books.
[02:38] SPEAKER_01: She wrote a novel called We The Living,
[02:40] SPEAKER_01: and another one called Anthem,
[02:41] SPEAKER_01: but she wrote a whole bunch of books on philosophy,
[02:43] SPEAKER_01: which I read.
[02:44] SPEAKER_01: When I read Atlas Shrugged, I was 20 years old,
[02:47] SPEAKER_01: I was in the midst of doing a paper at university,
[02:50] SPEAKER_01: and I was so captivated by its message
[02:53] SPEAKER_01: that I would read it for an hour,
[02:54] SPEAKER_01: then I'd go write the paper.
[02:55] SPEAKER_01: I slept one hour during that week, one total hour,
[02:59] SPEAKER_01: and I didn't have any caffeine.
[03:01] SPEAKER_01: I mean, think about how powerful that message
[03:02] SPEAKER_01: had to be for it to do that.
[03:05] SPEAKER_01: And what that message did for me is that it suffused me
[03:08] SPEAKER_01: with a belief in the majesty of voluntary exchange,
[03:12] SPEAKER_01: because free enterprise capitalism
[03:14] SPEAKER_01: is all about voluntary exchange.
[03:17] SPEAKER_01: And what people need to understand,
[03:18] SPEAKER_01: that's what makes it so moral,
[03:20] SPEAKER_01: that's what makes it so wonderful,
[03:21] SPEAKER_01: that's what makes it so amazing.
[03:22] SPEAKER_01: And socialism is about coercion.
[03:24] SPEAKER_01: Socialism is about rules at the end of a barrel of a gun.
[03:28] SPEAKER_01: If you don't do what they tell you to do,
[03:29] SPEAKER_01: they're gonna put a gun in your head.
[03:31] SPEAKER_01: And socialism everywhere that it's been tried has not worked.
[03:35] SPEAKER_01: Socialism destroyed the old Soviet Union,
[03:37] SPEAKER_01: social and destroyed Eastern Europe.
[03:39] SPEAKER_01: Socialism took Venezuela one of the richest countries
[03:41] SPEAKER_01: in the world and took it down to its knees.
[03:44] SPEAKER_01: While free enterprise has uplifted millions of people,
[03:48] SPEAKER_01: billions of people out of poverty.
[03:50] SPEAKER_01: So that's why I'm proud to be a champion for free enterprise
[03:53] SPEAKER_01: and for capitalism and for entrepreneurship.
[03:55] SPEAKER_01: I got that from my father as an example,
[03:57] SPEAKER_01: and I got that from I'm ran as the thought leader
[04:00] SPEAKER_01: who introduced me to the intellectual underpinnings
[04:03] SPEAKER_01: of why free enterprise matters and why it's important.
[04:06] SPEAKER_00: Even just there, there's just a thousand things to speak about.
[04:10] SPEAKER_00: I think that's a really powerful place
[04:13] SPEAKER_00: to have started your journey from the combination of a father
[04:18] SPEAKER_00: who I'm sorry for your loss,
[04:20] SPEAKER_00: but sounds like truly sounds like an incredible example
[04:25] SPEAKER_00: to have had in your life, your whole life,
[04:27] SPEAKER_00: from a moral heart centered place, all of those things,
[04:32] SPEAKER_00: and then to also have the philosophical underpinnings
[04:37] SPEAKER_00: of capitalism as the idea of capitalism.
[04:40] SPEAKER_00: So it's really that heart and brain marriage
[04:43] SPEAKER_00: that have come together to drive you
[04:46] SPEAKER_00: is what I hear inside of what you're saying.
[04:48] SPEAKER_01: Yeah, thank you.
[04:49] SPEAKER_01: I agree.
[04:50] SPEAKER_01: You know, I love the phrase capitalism.
[04:51] SPEAKER_01: In fact, I wrote a little children's book.
[04:53] SPEAKER_01: I should put it out for you.
[04:54] SPEAKER_01: And this book I wrote for my children.
[04:57] SPEAKER_00: I think capitalist and Johnny Jobmaker.
[05:00] SPEAKER_01: You got it, the video game company
[05:02] SPEAKER_01: was supposed to be the first in a series.
[05:04] SPEAKER_01: So it's written for kids from the ages of kind of two to eight.
[05:09] SPEAKER_01: And basically it lays out the foundation for free enterprise
[05:14] SPEAKER_01: for these little kids.
[05:15] SPEAKER_01: I think in a brilliant and beautiful way.
[05:17] SPEAKER_01: It's a fantastic book.
[05:18] SPEAKER_01: And I love that phrase, but I'll tell you
[05:20] SPEAKER_01: for a lot of people, capitalism has become a pejorative term.
[05:23] SPEAKER_01: It's a controversial term.
[05:25] SPEAKER_01: But free enterprise, I think, is a wonderful phrase
[05:27] SPEAKER_01: because free enterprise can note freedom and enterprise
[05:30] SPEAKER_01: and volunteerism.
[05:32] SPEAKER_01: So I like to use free enterprise
[05:34] SPEAKER_01: as my phrase of choice for describing what I'm a champion for.
[05:38] SPEAKER_00: I agree with you.
[05:39] SPEAKER_00: I think capitalism has become a bit of a dirty word.
[05:42] SPEAKER_00: I also think, and you know, this is the bias of growing up
[05:45] SPEAKER_00: in a country that has universal healthcare.
[05:48] SPEAKER_00: I also think socialism has become a bit of a dirty word
[05:50] SPEAKER_00: because I think there are benefits to things
[05:52] SPEAKER_00: like healthcare for as a human right.
[05:56] SPEAKER_00: And so I think that in both cases, there are extremes
[06:00] SPEAKER_00: and how people hear them and interpret them.
[06:04] SPEAKER_00: And capitalism, especially in a country like Canada,
[06:08] SPEAKER_00: people, they just don't want to be America.
[06:10] SPEAKER_00: They don't want to be the dirty version of what they see.
[06:12] SPEAKER_00: So I think free enterprise is a great way
[06:14] SPEAKER_00: of making people feel more comfortable with the idea
[06:18] SPEAKER_00: that a free market has many benefits for everyone.
[06:23] SPEAKER_01: A free market absolutely has many benefits for everybody.
[06:26] SPEAKER_01: And I'll tell you, I come from it from a bit
[06:29] SPEAKER_01: of a different point of view.
[06:30] SPEAKER_01: I mean, my father and my youngest son definitely
[06:33] SPEAKER_01: have benefited from the system that we have in Canada.
[06:36] SPEAKER_01: So I'm not somebody who's going to talk badly
[06:38] SPEAKER_01: about that system.
[06:39] SPEAKER_01: But I also think that our system definitely has its issues
[06:43] SPEAKER_01: and has its flaws.
[06:46] SPEAKER_01: And we need to be cognizant of that.
[06:49] SPEAKER_01: And part of what doesn't work about it
[06:50] SPEAKER_01: is the incentives of the free market and volunteerism
[06:53] SPEAKER_01: are really not that present there.
[06:55] SPEAKER_01: And I really want them to become more present
[06:57] SPEAKER_01: because I think it'll become a better, stronger system.
[06:59] SPEAKER_01: And we can take care of the people
[07:01] SPEAKER_01: that need to be taken care of.
[07:02] SPEAKER_01: And also frankly, for the people who have the money,
[07:05] SPEAKER_01: for the people who have the means, honestly,
[07:08] SPEAKER_01: they ought to pay for themselves.
[07:09] SPEAKER_01: That's how I feel about it.
[07:11] SPEAKER_00: That's totally fair.
[07:13] SPEAKER_00: And I agree.
[07:13] SPEAKER_00: I don't know anyone who is doing,
[07:16] SPEAKER_00: who has a great system set up that is not without its flaws
[07:20] SPEAKER_00: and Canada certainly has its flaws as well.
[07:22] SPEAKER_00: I 100% agree with that.
[07:24] SPEAKER_00: So your podcast is called The Thought Leader Revolution.
[07:28] SPEAKER_00: You have taken this idea of entrepreneurship
[07:30] SPEAKER_00: really into the next level in my opinion
[07:32] SPEAKER_00: with this concept of thought leadership.
[07:35] SPEAKER_00: And so I'd love for you to share with our audience
[07:37] SPEAKER_00: because I think a lot of them,
[07:39] SPEAKER_00: whether they're starting a business
[07:41] SPEAKER_00: or have been in business for a while,
[07:43] SPEAKER_00: I think that concept of thought leadership,
[07:46] SPEAKER_00: one is possibly foreign to them,
[07:48] SPEAKER_00: but two would be very valuable for them
[07:50] SPEAKER_00: to understand your perspective on.
[07:52] SPEAKER_01: Well, thank you.
[07:53] SPEAKER_01: I agree wholeheartedly.
[07:55] SPEAKER_01: So one of my mentors is a man out of Australia.
[07:58] SPEAKER_01: He's a thought leader by the name of Matt Church
[08:00] SPEAKER_01: and he has a beautiful, beautiful definition
[08:03] SPEAKER_01: of thought leadership.
[08:04] SPEAKER_01: And he makes a distinction between an expert in a thought leader.
[08:06] SPEAKER_01: He says an expert, someone who knows something,
[08:08] SPEAKER_01: but a thought leader is someone who's known
[08:11] SPEAKER_01: for knowing something.
[08:12] SPEAKER_01: And that's a powerful distinction
[08:14] SPEAKER_01: because a lot of people have expertise.
[08:16] SPEAKER_01: You and I have expertise,
[08:17] SPEAKER_01: tons of people have expertise.
[08:19] SPEAKER_01: But if you're not known for that expertise,
[08:20] SPEAKER_01: it's not gonna benefit you from a business point of view.
[08:23] SPEAKER_01: If you're a thought leader
[08:24] SPEAKER_01: and you're known for your expertise,
[08:26] SPEAKER_01: then it's gonna benefit you and benefit you tremendously.
[08:29] SPEAKER_01: And it applies not just to people
[08:31] SPEAKER_01: who are coaches, consultants, author speakers,
[08:34] SPEAKER_01: it also applies to business owners.
[08:36] SPEAKER_01: And it also applies to people who are thinking about
[08:39] SPEAKER_01: starting a business and having yet done so.
[08:41] SPEAKER_01: So let me give you an example of some business leaders
[08:44] SPEAKER_01: as thought leaders.
[08:45] SPEAKER_01: So Richard Branson is a business owner
[08:48] SPEAKER_01: and he's a visionary entrepreneur,
[08:49] SPEAKER_01: but he's also a thought leader.
[08:51] SPEAKER_01: He makes money from a speaking engagements,
[08:53] SPEAKER_01: from his books, from retreats,
[08:55] SPEAKER_01: he runs at Neckar Island, at least in non-COVID times.
[08:58] SPEAKER_01: And he makes about nine million a year
[09:00] SPEAKER_01: from doing that, not a bad chunk of change
[09:02] SPEAKER_01: for some thought leadership work.
[09:04] SPEAKER_01: And it's a beautiful thing.
[09:05] SPEAKER_01: But on top of that, his thought leadership brings in
[09:08] SPEAKER_01: customers to all his Virgin companies.
[09:10] SPEAKER_01: It brings him employees who beat down a path
[09:13] SPEAKER_01: to his door to work with him.
[09:15] SPEAKER_01: And it also brings him investors.
[09:18] SPEAKER_01: So the thought leadership makes him money,
[09:20] SPEAKER_01: but it also makes his brand that much more compelling.
[09:23] SPEAKER_01: It stands out.
[09:24] SPEAKER_01: Virgin isn't like any other brand.
[09:26] SPEAKER_01: Virgin is a unique company.
[09:29] SPEAKER_01: And it's Richard Branson's position
[09:31] SPEAKER_01: as a thought leader that makes that possible.
[09:33] SPEAKER_01: Think of the late great Steve Jobs.
[09:35] SPEAKER_01: Steve Jobs was definitely a thought leader.
[09:38] SPEAKER_01: I mean, people still today are fanatical about Apple.
[09:42] SPEAKER_01: Fanatical.
[09:43] SPEAKER_01: I'm one of those fanatical Apple guys.
[09:46] SPEAKER_01: Podheads, I call us.
[09:47] SPEAKER_01: Instead of podheads, we're podheads, right?
[09:50] SPEAKER_01: So the truth of the matter is,
[09:52] SPEAKER_01: those Steve Jobs got people to buy Apple products
[09:54] SPEAKER_01: because of Steve Jobs.
[09:55] SPEAKER_01: And people are still buying Apple products
[09:56] SPEAKER_01: because of Steve Jobs.
[09:58] SPEAKER_01: Steve Jobs got people beat a path to his door
[10:00] SPEAKER_01: for the privilege of getting to work for Apple.
[10:03] SPEAKER_01: And people stayed with Apple because of Steve Jobs's fan.
[10:06] SPEAKER_01: And Steve Jobs got people to invest in his company.
[10:09] SPEAKER_01: Listen, I have spent probably $25 to $30,000 on Apple products.
[10:14] SPEAKER_01: But I've also invested heavily in Apple stock
[10:17] SPEAKER_01: because of Steve Jobs.
[10:19] SPEAKER_01: And that's just me, one example.
[10:21] SPEAKER_01: What I'm telling you, that happens all the time.
[10:23] SPEAKER_01: Think about the great Elon Musk.
[10:26] SPEAKER_01: Tesla right now is on the S&P 500.
[10:29] SPEAKER_01: Think about that.
[10:31] SPEAKER_01: They're one of the companies that gets to make up the index.
[10:34] SPEAKER_01: That's unbelievable.
[10:36] SPEAKER_01: They are the most valuable car company in the world.
[10:39] SPEAKER_01: And that's because of the Musk brand.
[10:41] SPEAKER_01: And why?
[10:42] SPEAKER_01: Because Musk has a message.
[10:43] SPEAKER_01: He's also a heart leader.
[10:44] SPEAKER_01: He says, I want to change the world.
[10:46] SPEAKER_01: I want to make the world a cleaner, safer place.
[10:50] SPEAKER_01: For the next generation, I'm going to be the one
[10:52] SPEAKER_01: to make it possible for people to drive cars
[10:56] SPEAKER_01: without needing to burn as much fossil fuels.
[10:58] SPEAKER_01: Now, let's face it.
[11:00] SPEAKER_01: If you're creating electricity,
[11:01] SPEAKER_01: you still need to use some fossil fuels.
[11:02] SPEAKER_01: I know a lot of people like to think that's not true,
[11:04] SPEAKER_01: but it is true.
[11:05] SPEAKER_01: It's just a lesser amount.
[11:06] SPEAKER_01: The creation of electricity does involve the use of fossil fuels.
[11:10] SPEAKER_01: Sorry, sorry, my green friends, but it's a truth.
[11:12] SPEAKER_01: But it's less than that's a beautiful thing.
[11:15] SPEAKER_01: And because of that, people buy Tesla's.
[11:18] SPEAKER_01: And because of that, people invest in a stock.
[11:20] SPEAKER_01: And because of that, people are basically falling over themselves
[11:25] SPEAKER_01: for the privilege of working with this guy.
[11:27] SPEAKER_01: So he's become a billionaire
[11:28] SPEAKER_01: because he's got a thought leader brand.
[11:30] SPEAKER_01: So if you're a business owner,
[11:31] SPEAKER_01: you're listening to this podcast.
[11:33] SPEAKER_01: Here's one thing that's possible for you.
[11:35] SPEAKER_01: You can be the Elon Musk in your space.
[11:36] SPEAKER_01: You can be the Richard Brands of your space.
[11:38] SPEAKER_01: You can be the Steve Jobs of your space.
[11:41] SPEAKER_01: It's entirely possible.
[11:42] SPEAKER_01: And if you start thinking about yourself in that fashion,
[11:45] SPEAKER_01: it will take your business to the next level.
[11:48] SPEAKER_01: You won't just scale your business.
[11:50] SPEAKER_01: You'll put your business on a rocket ship
[11:52] SPEAKER_00: and you'll send it into the stratosphere.
[11:55] SPEAKER_00: So I have a question, I love those examples.
[11:57] SPEAKER_00: And I have a question because what I hear,
[12:00] SPEAKER_00: and I'm thinking of our audience
[12:01] SPEAKER_00: who is looking to start a business, right?
[12:04] SPEAKER_00: Is looking to step into thought leadership, let's say.
[12:07] SPEAKER_00: For Richard Brands and Steve Jobs,
[12:10] SPEAKER_00: Elon Musk great examples, they all had a business.
[12:14] SPEAKER_00: So they were experts in travel.
[12:17] SPEAKER_00: Let's, I mean, that is very basically
[12:19] SPEAKER_00: summing up Richard Brands and bear with me travel.
[12:21] SPEAKER_00: Let's call it aviation experts in computers
[12:26] SPEAKER_00: and some of technology experts in green technology,
[12:30] SPEAKER_00: whatever their expertise was.
[12:32] SPEAKER_00: They started a business that was successful to a point.
[12:36] SPEAKER_00: And then they stepped into the role of thought leadership
[12:40] SPEAKER_00: to blow that up.
[12:41] SPEAKER_00: And then it becomes a very positive feedback loop, right?
[12:45] SPEAKER_00: One feeds the other feeds the, so it's a wonderful thing.
[12:49] SPEAKER_00: So if someone is thinking, I want to get to that point,
[12:53] SPEAKER_00: but I don't have the business yet,
[12:55] SPEAKER_00: I'm not established at that point, does that matter?
[12:59] SPEAKER_01: No.
[13:00] SPEAKER_01: So the first thing they need to do is they need to get a hold
[13:02] SPEAKER_01: of my book, which exactly is written for that person.
[13:06] SPEAKER_01: That person you described, I wrote this book for them.
[13:09] SPEAKER_01: It's called The Thought Leaders Journey.
[13:10] SPEAKER_01: And if I may say so, this is a brilliant, super readable,
[13:15] SPEAKER_01: highly engaging book.
[13:16] SPEAKER_01: And you can purchase it on Amazon.
[13:18] SPEAKER_01: So go to The Thought Leaders Journey,
[13:20] SPEAKER_01: look up Nikki Baloo, or you can get it for free.
[13:23] SPEAKER_01: Now, the free part is it's going to be a downloadable kindle.
[13:27] SPEAKER_01: So if you want a hard copy and you got to pay,
[13:29] SPEAKER_01: you got to go to Amazon, sorry.
[13:30] SPEAKER_01: But if you want the free copy,
[13:32] SPEAKER_01: I can give you a link for people to get it.
[13:34] SPEAKER_01: And the link is,
[13:36] SPEAKER_01: ecircleacademy.com,
[13:38] SPEAKER_01: forward slash TLJ book.
[13:40] SPEAKER_01: That stands for Thought Leaders Journey book.
[13:42] SPEAKER_01: So ecircleacademy.com, TLJ book.
[13:45] SPEAKER_01: Now in this book, I outline for people,
[13:48] SPEAKER_01: what are the things that you need to do
[13:51] SPEAKER_01: if you haven't yet started your business
[13:53] SPEAKER_01: for you to be able to create a beautiful business
[13:57] SPEAKER_01: and be a thought leader in it.
[13:58] SPEAKER_01: So let me give you a few brilliant nuggets
[14:04] SPEAKER_01: that'll really help folks.
[14:06] SPEAKER_01: So number one, doubt kills.
[14:09] SPEAKER_01: You've got to kill, doubt.
[14:11] SPEAKER_01: Doubt kills the warrior or the warrior kills the doubt.
[14:14] SPEAKER_01: Doubt kills the warrior or the warrior kills the doubt.
[14:17] SPEAKER_01: If you got doubt in you, you got to get up,
[14:18] SPEAKER_01: you got to slay that bad boy.
[14:20] SPEAKER_01: You got to slay that bad, bad girl.
[14:23] SPEAKER_01: You got to do it every single day.
[14:26] SPEAKER_01: You know, Steve Pressfield,
[14:27] SPEAKER_01: who's one of my all time favorite thought leaders
[14:30] SPEAKER_01: and had the privilege of doing a one day course with him.
[14:32] SPEAKER_01: He wrote a brilliant book called The War of Art.
[14:36] SPEAKER_01: And in it, he talks about this concept
[14:38] SPEAKER_01: called Resistance with a Capital Art.
[14:41] SPEAKER_01: Resistance is an insidious force
[14:43] SPEAKER_01: that's out to kill your ambition
[14:45] SPEAKER_01: for the best version of yourself,
[14:47] SPEAKER_01: better than a door nail.
[14:49] SPEAKER_01: And every day, resistance fights with you.
[14:51] SPEAKER_01: And every day, you've got to get up and fight it back.
[14:54] SPEAKER_01: And some days it's going to beat you.
[14:56] SPEAKER_01: But if you are aware that you're fighting resistance,
[14:59] SPEAKER_01: you can beat it.
[15:00] SPEAKER_01: So every day, you got to go after that doubt.
[15:02] SPEAKER_01: You got to kill it dead.
[15:03] SPEAKER_01: Okay.
[15:04] SPEAKER_01: And here's another thing you got to do.
[15:06] SPEAKER_01: Don't go after everybody.
[15:08] SPEAKER_01: If someone asks you, who does your business help?
[15:11] SPEAKER_01: Oh, it can help anybody.
[15:13] SPEAKER_01: No, wrong answer.
[15:14] SPEAKER_01: That idea.
[15:15] SPEAKER_01: Horrible, horrible.
[15:16] SPEAKER_01: Stop.
[15:17] SPEAKER_01: Do not pass, go.
[15:18] SPEAKER_01: Eh, eh, eh.
[15:20] SPEAKER_01: Okay.
[15:21] SPEAKER_01: You need to go after just a narrow niche,
[15:25] SPEAKER_01: the narrower the better, the narrower the better.
[15:27] SPEAKER_01: Let me say that again, but narrower the better.
[15:30] SPEAKER_01: This may be kind of intuitive to you
[15:32] SPEAKER_01: if you've never done business because you think,
[15:34] SPEAKER_01: I'm narrowing my market.
[15:35] SPEAKER_01: I'm limiting my opportunities.
[15:36] SPEAKER_01: You are not.
[15:37] SPEAKER_01: If you do everything for everybody,
[15:38] SPEAKER_01: you will not stand out.
[15:39] SPEAKER_01: If you don't stand out, you will not have a business.
[15:42] SPEAKER_01: Let me repeat that.
[15:43] SPEAKER_01: If you do everything for everybody,
[15:45] SPEAKER_01: you will not stand out.
[15:46] SPEAKER_01: If you don't stand out, you will not have a business.
[15:49] SPEAKER_01: So don't go after everyone.
[15:51] SPEAKER_01: And then you need to become known for solving one problem,
[15:55] SPEAKER_01: one problem better than everybody and anybody else.
[16:00] SPEAKER_01: You need to become known for solving one problem,
[16:02] SPEAKER_01: one problem better than anyone and everybody else.
[16:06] SPEAKER_01: That happens.
[16:07] SPEAKER_01: They will be the path to your door.
[16:09] SPEAKER_01: They will start to understand that, wow, you are the one.
[16:13] SPEAKER_01: Selene Williams, she's our gal.
[16:15] SPEAKER_01: She can do it.
[16:16] SPEAKER_01: She solves problem X better than anybody.
[16:19] SPEAKER_01: Anybody.
[16:20] SPEAKER_01: Okay. So these are some things that if you do,
[16:23] SPEAKER_01: we'll take you to the next level.
[16:24] SPEAKER_01: And then the next thing, this is my personal recommendation.
[16:28] SPEAKER_01: I believe you should have a strategy of preeminence.
[16:31] SPEAKER_01: Be the best in your field, not just one of the very good ones.
[16:34] SPEAKER_01: If you're the best in your field,
[16:35] SPEAKER_01: you can charge more, which means you'll make more money.
[16:38] SPEAKER_01: And that's a beautiful thing.
[16:39] SPEAKER_01: And you can also attract business more easily.
[16:42] SPEAKER_01: So these things are super, super, super, super.
[16:46] SPEAKER_01: And then you got to be aware of the Charlottes and marketers
[16:49] SPEAKER_01: around you because there are tons of Charlottes and marketers.
[16:52] SPEAKER_01: You and I talked about this before, Selene.
[16:54] SPEAKER_01: The Charlottes and marketers is that man, that woman
[16:57] SPEAKER_01: who sounds good and says all the right things
[17:00] SPEAKER_01: and pushes all the right buttons, but, but, but, but,
[17:03] SPEAKER_01: they don't deliver the goods.
[17:05] SPEAKER_01: They suck at delivering the goods.
[17:08] SPEAKER_01: Everybody around them goes, oh my God,
[17:09] SPEAKER_01: this person's so great, they're so awesome,
[17:11] SPEAKER_01: they're so amazing, yay, yay, yay.
[17:13] SPEAKER_01: So, okay, what you get from working with them,
[17:16] SPEAKER_01: what you get from using their services, buying their products.
[17:19] SPEAKER_01: Well, you know, not much, but I really love being there
[17:22] SPEAKER_01: and all the people there and they got so many cool people there.
[17:25] SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, you don't want that.
[17:26] SPEAKER_01: You don't want a Charlottes and marketers.
[17:27] SPEAKER_01: You want someone who delivers the goods.
[17:29] SPEAKER_01: You want someone who will make you more money,
[17:31] SPEAKER_01: who'll make your employees perform better.
[17:33] SPEAKER_01: You want someone whose products are just brilliant
[17:37] SPEAKER_01: and pristine examples of how to solve the problem
[17:41] SPEAKER_01: that made you buy it in the first place.
[17:42] SPEAKER_01: Because business at the end of the day
[17:44] SPEAKER_01: is about solving problems and that's just problems,
[17:46] SPEAKER_01: but a huge problems, a huge problems.
[17:51] SPEAKER_01: No one's gonna pay you to solve a problem that's not acute.
[17:55] SPEAKER_01: Look, if you run walk by a restaurant
[17:57] SPEAKER_01: and you're not hungry, you don't have an acute problem
[18:00] SPEAKER_01: called hunger, you're gonna keep walking by.
[18:04] SPEAKER_01: But if you're at home and you're hungry
[18:07] SPEAKER_01: and you got no food, you're gonna go find that restaurant.
[18:09] SPEAKER_01: And that's why it's important.
[18:11] SPEAKER_01: And if business people understand some of these principles
[18:13] SPEAKER_01: and some of the other 13, 14 principles
[18:15] SPEAKER_01: that are in this incredible book,
[18:17] SPEAKER_01: it's going to completely transform how they approach business.
[18:21] SPEAKER_01: They're gonna be successful launching their business.
[18:23] SPEAKER_01: They're gonna actually make money
[18:24] SPEAKER_01: and make the difference they were born to make.
[18:27] SPEAKER_00: I mean, I love all of that.
[18:28] SPEAKER_00: And we will definitely put the link to that,
[18:30] SPEAKER_00: to your download in the shout outs.
[18:32] SPEAKER_00: Because I think it's an incredibly,
[18:34] SPEAKER_00: incredibly generous of you to offer
[18:36] SPEAKER_00: to give the book to our audience for free.
[18:38] SPEAKER_00: And it's a powerful book.
[18:39] SPEAKER_00: I really recommend that people download it and read through it.
[18:43] SPEAKER_00: And there's two things that you said in there
[18:44] SPEAKER_00: that I wanna emphasize and sort of jump into really quickly.
[18:49] SPEAKER_00: I love that you said to niche down and narrow your focus.
[18:54] SPEAKER_00: Because I think it is the scariest thing for people
[18:57] SPEAKER_00: as they're starting businesses to do
[18:59] SPEAKER_00: because we all think that we can solve everyone's problem.
[19:03] SPEAKER_00: I don't, I can do this for lots of people.
[19:05] SPEAKER_00: It doesn't have to be industry-specific.
[19:07] SPEAKER_00: It doesn't have to, we all think that.
[19:09] SPEAKER_00: And it's not that it's not true.
[19:11] SPEAKER_00: It doesn't mean you can't solve the problems
[19:13] SPEAKER_00: of multiple industries, but you can't market to everyone.
[19:18] SPEAKER_00: If you market to everyone, you market to nobody.
[19:20] SPEAKER_00: Because then it doesn't, no one sees themselves in it.
[19:23] SPEAKER_00: When you think you're hitting everyone,
[19:24] SPEAKER_00: it's so vague that people are like, oh, that's not me.
[19:27] SPEAKER_00: And I think it's, I love that you said that
[19:31] SPEAKER_00: because Mike's, and the question,
[19:34] SPEAKER_00: this is why I'm asking, my experience has been that
[19:36] SPEAKER_00: the bigger that companies get, the bigger that,
[19:40] SPEAKER_00: and I'm like not, like, you know,
[19:42] SPEAKER_00: the more you grow your company,
[19:43] SPEAKER_00: the more you grow your revenue and your business.
[19:45] SPEAKER_00: The more you learn that niching further and further
[19:49] SPEAKER_00: actually helps you grow.
[19:52] SPEAKER_00: And I'm curious if you've seen that as well
[19:54] SPEAKER_00: that as people hit six figures, seven figures,
[19:58] SPEAKER_00: they actually are going narrow or narrow or not wider
[20:01] SPEAKER_00: and wider, which is what people always think
[20:04] SPEAKER_00: is the path to success.
[20:06] SPEAKER_01: So, I mean, let's look at a big company example.
[20:11] SPEAKER_01: Tesla, Tesla has and started off with
[20:14] SPEAKER_01: making electric cars aimed at people
[20:18] SPEAKER_01: who were environmentally conscious,
[20:21] SPEAKER_01: wanted a cool car, but also wanted to do something
[20:23] SPEAKER_01: good for the environment and had a self identification
[20:28] SPEAKER_01: as a good person, as a person who cares
[20:30] SPEAKER_01: and wanted to make a difference.
[20:32] SPEAKER_01: That's not everybody.
[20:33] SPEAKER_01: That's a very narrow demographic,
[20:35] SPEAKER_01: but boy, Tesla did a brilliant job of marketing to them.
[20:39] SPEAKER_01: And everybody who saw themselves inside that avatar
[20:43] SPEAKER_01: flocked to Tesla to buy those cars,
[20:45] SPEAKER_01: walked and they're still doing it.
[20:48] SPEAKER_01: So, I had a client, he was a bitness coach, right?
[20:54] SPEAKER_01: A personal trainer when I met him.
[20:57] SPEAKER_01: And when I got started working with him,
[20:58] SPEAKER_01: he had seven clients charging $25 an hour.
[21:03] SPEAKER_01: He didn't have a car, he'd lost his license
[21:05] SPEAKER_01: so he busted everywhere.
[21:07] SPEAKER_01: Let me think about this.
[21:08] SPEAKER_01: How crazy that is, right?
[21:10] SPEAKER_01: Bust in everywhere.
[21:11] SPEAKER_01: So, this fellow was making under $18,000 a year, okay?
[21:17] SPEAKER_01: And he would work with anybody with a wallet and a pulse.
[21:21] SPEAKER_01: He had a wallet, he had a pulse, he'd take you.
[21:24] SPEAKER_01: From the ones, lots of people with wallets and pulses
[21:26] SPEAKER_01: wouldn't take him.
[21:29] SPEAKER_01: Started working with me.
[21:30] SPEAKER_01: We started helping narrow his focus, narrow his niche.
[21:34] SPEAKER_01: Initially, he said, okay, I think I'm gonna start working
[21:36] SPEAKER_01: with doctors.
[21:38] SPEAKER_01: Let me be cardiac doctors.
[21:39] SPEAKER_01: And he got a few of those people, but not much.
[21:43] SPEAKER_01: Then he stumbled upon the right niche
[21:46] SPEAKER_01: because we just kept telling him, no, no, no,
[21:48] SPEAKER_01: you gotta keep thinking, you gotta keep thinking.
[21:50] SPEAKER_01: And he started working with a guy
[21:52] SPEAKER_01: who had been a Paralympic athlete.
[21:54] SPEAKER_01: He'd lost his leg this fellow when he was younger.
[21:57] SPEAKER_01: And he was the beautiful part about this story
[22:00] SPEAKER_01: of my client working with this fellow.
[22:04] SPEAKER_01: He thought, maybe I should work with other people
[22:06] SPEAKER_01: who have missing ones.
[22:07] SPEAKER_01: These guys, they need training
[22:09] SPEAKER_01: and I figured out a way to train them.
[22:11] SPEAKER_01: So he started to do that.
[22:12] SPEAKER_01: Oh my God.
[22:14] SPEAKER_01: Very quickly, he scaled to 400 clients.
[22:16] SPEAKER_01: Very quickly, like boom, from seven to 400.
[22:22] SPEAKER_01: And unbelievably so, the people that bought from him,
[22:26] SPEAKER_01: yeah, they wanted to be trained,
[22:28] SPEAKER_01: but the message that he gave them wasn't just,
[22:31] SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna train you, the message was, hey,
[22:33] SPEAKER_01: if you have a missing limb, you are just as good
[22:37] SPEAKER_01: as an able-bodied person.
[22:39] SPEAKER_01: And there is no reason for you to be treated
[22:41] SPEAKER_01: any differently.
[22:42] SPEAKER_01: You deserve to have workout programs.
[22:44] SPEAKER_01: You deserve to be strong and healthy and fit.
[22:47] SPEAKER_01: And let me tell you, for someone with a missing limb,
[22:51] SPEAKER_01: that was a powerful message.
[22:53] SPEAKER_01: It was a message that just went,
[22:54] SPEAKER_01: boom, right into their heart and soul.
[22:57] SPEAKER_01: Spoke at the level of identity.
[22:59] SPEAKER_01: And that's why 400 people became his clients, like that.
[23:05] SPEAKER_00: I love that example because a fitness trainer
[23:08] SPEAKER_00: can legitimately train anyone.
[23:11] SPEAKER_00: They could work with anybody.
[23:14] SPEAKER_00: So it is the perfect example.
[23:17] SPEAKER_00: And so I really appreciate that.
[23:18] SPEAKER_00: And I hope that it resonates with the audience
[23:23] SPEAKER_00: as much as, this is why I'm emphasizing it,
[23:26] SPEAKER_00: because I think it's such a gap for so many people
[23:28] SPEAKER_00: who are struggling.
[23:29] SPEAKER_00: So thank you for sharing that.
[23:32] SPEAKER_00: The other thing that I wanted to touch on really quickly,
[23:34] SPEAKER_00: and we have spoken about it,
[23:35] SPEAKER_00: is this idea of Charlotteson marketers.
[23:38] SPEAKER_00: And I'm curious what your thoughts on this are.
[23:43] SPEAKER_00: I see a lot of people who are doing phenomenal work
[23:47] SPEAKER_00: that are who are really experts
[23:49] SPEAKER_00: and on the brink of stepping into thought leadership
[23:51] SPEAKER_00: who have no idea how to market.
[23:56] SPEAKER_00: And they are not, they're the polar opposite
[23:58] SPEAKER_00: of a Charlotteson marketer
[23:59] SPEAKER_00: because they're doing virtually no marketing at all.
[24:04] SPEAKER_01: I know.
[24:04] SPEAKER_01: It's one of my, I'll tell you,
[24:05] SPEAKER_01: it's one of my biggest frustrations
[24:07] SPEAKER_01: because a lot of these people go
[24:10] SPEAKER_01: and they spend a lot of money on some of these other folks
[24:12] SPEAKER_01: who purport to help them, who don't end up getting them results.
[24:16] SPEAKER_01: I had a client, her name is Adele.
[24:19] SPEAKER_01: Adele is a true thought leader.
[24:22] SPEAKER_01: And when I started working with Adele,
[24:24] SPEAKER_01: Adele was struggling and she had spent
[24:27] SPEAKER_01: well excess of six figures on these Charlotteson marketers.
[24:31] SPEAKER_01: Like I'm talking well excess of six figures.
[24:35] SPEAKER_01: Okay, she was in her mid fifties at the time
[24:37] SPEAKER_01: and the people that she was working with
[24:39] SPEAKER_01: were not delivering any results.
[24:42] SPEAKER_01: She got zero which I mean zero.
[24:44] SPEAKER_01: She was so frustrated.
[24:46] SPEAKER_01: And you know, her husband said,
[24:47] SPEAKER_01: honey, I love you, but you're spending us
[24:49] SPEAKER_01: into the poor house.
[24:50] SPEAKER_01: Give me your credit cards.
[24:53] SPEAKER_01: So when we started working with Adele,
[24:57] SPEAKER_01: she looked at me and she says,
[24:58] SPEAKER_01: okay, I'm signing up for this, but this better work.
[25:01] SPEAKER_01: And I just took a big op and I go, okay,
[25:04] SPEAKER_01: you know what, I promised.
[25:06] SPEAKER_01: And I looked at my partner in business at the time
[25:08] SPEAKER_01: and I said, we better deliver further.
[25:10] SPEAKER_01: He says, yeah, we'll deliver further.
[25:12] SPEAKER_01: And we did.
[25:13] SPEAKER_01: Adele went from basically not even making
[25:17] SPEAKER_01: a couple grand a month on average
[25:19] SPEAKER_01: to making over 20 grand a month on average.
[25:23] SPEAKER_01: One month, she had gone from $500 the year before,
[25:28] SPEAKER_01: to $50,000 that was a big month.
[25:31] SPEAKER_01: That was a 10,000% increase.
[25:35] SPEAKER_01: And I gotta tell you, the fact that we were able
[25:38] SPEAKER_01: to do that for her was so heartening
[25:40] SPEAKER_01: because it proved to me that we have what it takes
[25:43] SPEAKER_01: to help people win, but it was also so frustrating
[25:46] SPEAKER_01: because there's a lot of Adele's out there.
[25:48] SPEAKER_01: And when they meet me, you know, I'm a good guy.
[25:51] SPEAKER_01: I'm sincere, but the people they met,
[25:53] SPEAKER_01: they felt they were good people and they were sincere too.
[25:55] SPEAKER_01: So how did they differentiate between someone
[25:57] SPEAKER_01: who's a Charlton marketer and someone who isn't?
[25:59] SPEAKER_01: Honestly, I don't have a good answer for that,
[26:02] SPEAKER_01: but all I'll say is talk to some of the people
[26:04] SPEAKER_01: we've worked with, our track record's really good.
[26:08] SPEAKER_01: We help a lot of people and if we can't help you,
[26:12] SPEAKER_01: we'll tell you, like we don't want the transaction,
[26:15] SPEAKER_01: we want a relationship.
[26:16] SPEAKER_01: That's the way we work.
[26:17] SPEAKER_01: And if we know we can help somebody,
[26:19] SPEAKER_01: we'll be straight with them.
[26:20] SPEAKER_01: But sometimes people just have a hard time going,
[26:22] SPEAKER_01: okay, well, let me listen to this other person.
[26:24] SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
[26:25] SPEAKER_01: I'm not somebody who's good at selling sizzle.
[26:28] SPEAKER_01: I'll just be honest, I'm not a sizzle seller.
[26:30] SPEAKER_01: I'm not someone who knows how to push all the right buttons
[26:32] SPEAKER_01: in you to make you want to buy for me in the moment.
[26:35] SPEAKER_01: I'm sincere, I talk about what's real
[26:37] SPEAKER_01: and people will buy if they feel that sincerity,
[26:39] SPEAKER_01: but if the heart's a bit guarded, that can be tough.
[26:42] SPEAKER_01: That's one of the challenges I'd like to figure out
[26:44] SPEAKER_01: because there's so many people who've been burned
[26:46] SPEAKER_01: by these Charlton marketers, I want to help them.
[26:48] SPEAKER_01: I know if I can get all of the people
[26:50] SPEAKER_01: in the city of Toronto who've been burned
[26:51] SPEAKER_01: by Charlton marketers who folks like you and I,
[26:54] SPEAKER_01: I know I can get them results.
[26:56] SPEAKER_01: If I can even get 10% of them to go,
[26:58] SPEAKER_01: okay, I'll come work with you.
[27:00] SPEAKER_01: They'll spread the words to everybody else.
[27:02] SPEAKER_01: And that's part of why I want to do things like this podcast.
[27:06] SPEAKER_00: I think what you said is really important.
[27:08] SPEAKER_00: There's a few things, listen, I think there's a lot of what you said.
[27:10] SPEAKER_00: That's really important, but a couple of things that you said
[27:12] SPEAKER_00: in there, I really want to highlight.
[27:13] SPEAKER_00: And that is if you talk to people who have worked with you
[27:16] SPEAKER_00: or anyone who's, if you're looking at work with someone, period,
[27:21] SPEAKER_00: talk to the people who that they've worked with in the past
[27:23] SPEAKER_00: and ask the specific question of what results have you got?
[27:27] SPEAKER_00: Because I think a lot of times we ask,
[27:30] SPEAKER_00: what did you think of the person or what did you think?
[27:32] SPEAKER_00: And people are like, oh, I really like that person.
[27:35] SPEAKER_00: That is not the results they got.
[27:36] SPEAKER_00: I can really like a lot of people.
[27:38] SPEAKER_00: It doesn't mean that they are the right person
[27:41] SPEAKER_00: to get me results or that they will get results.
[27:44] SPEAKER_00: And I think that question you asked is a really important question
[27:48] SPEAKER_00: that we do not ask nearly as often as we could
[27:52] SPEAKER_00: or should in any situation.
[27:56] SPEAKER_00: And I think the other thing you said that's really important
[27:59] SPEAKER_00: is if the person that you're looking
[28:01] SPEAKER_00: or company that you're looking to work with,
[28:03] SPEAKER_00: I don't care what it is individual or not,
[28:05] SPEAKER_00: if they say yes to everyone who crosses their path
[28:09] SPEAKER_00: and they don't have the awareness to say,
[28:11] SPEAKER_00: that's not for me or we can't help you,
[28:14] SPEAKER_00: chances are pretty good that they are not going to be able
[28:18] SPEAKER_00: to help you if they've never said no to anyone.
[28:20] SPEAKER_01: So true.
[28:20] SPEAKER_00: When I talk to coaches and we have a conversation,
[28:24] SPEAKER_00: if you ever fired a client or said no to a client,
[28:26] SPEAKER_00: the number of coaches that are like, absolutely not.
[28:28] SPEAKER_00: I say yes to it.
[28:29] SPEAKER_00: If they come my way, I say yes to them.
[28:31] SPEAKER_00: And I'm always like, that breaks my heart
[28:33] SPEAKER_00: that that is the approach that you have.
[28:36] SPEAKER_00: And that's true for everything.
[28:37] SPEAKER_00: So thank you for bringing up those points.
[28:40] SPEAKER_00: I think they're really important.
[28:41] SPEAKER_00: And I think it arms the people who are interested
[28:44] SPEAKER_00: in working with you or anyone with some knowledge
[28:49] SPEAKER_00: and ability to go and prepare for the conversation.
[28:53] SPEAKER_01: Yeah, absolutely.
[28:54] SPEAKER_01: I wholeheartedly agree with what you just said.
[28:57] SPEAKER_01: And thank you for articulating it that beautifully.
[29:00] SPEAKER_00: Well, I appreciate you.
[29:01] SPEAKER_00: And I like to reflect back on the things
[29:04] SPEAKER_00: that really stand out to me because I think it's valid.
[29:07] SPEAKER_00: I think it's often the things that the audience will be like,
[29:10] SPEAKER_00: oh, that's an interesting point.
[29:12] SPEAKER_00: I like to emphasize points.
[29:13] SPEAKER_00: Nick, this is my jam.
[29:15] SPEAKER_00: I love it.
[29:16] SPEAKER_01: I love it.
[29:17] SPEAKER_01: That's your jam.
[29:18] SPEAKER_00: We're getting close to the end of this.
[29:20] SPEAKER_00: So I want to kind of, I like to wrap up and ask,
[29:23] SPEAKER_00: is there anything that we haven't spoken about
[29:27] SPEAKER_00: or that you want to emphasize for the audience
[29:30] SPEAKER_00: before we get to the end of this?
[29:32] SPEAKER_00: I want to give you the opportunity
[29:34] SPEAKER_00: in case we haven't gotten to something.
[29:36] SPEAKER_01: Well, thank you for doing that.
[29:38] SPEAKER_01: I got to say, 2020 has been the craziest year ever since I've
[29:43] SPEAKER_01: been alive.
[29:44] SPEAKER_01: I'm sure there have been crazier years and errors
[29:46] SPEAKER_01: I wasn't alive in.
[29:47] SPEAKER_01: But it's definitely been the craziest year.
[29:49] SPEAKER_01: We've had a pandemic.
[29:51] SPEAKER_01: We've had lockdowns and restrictions.
[29:53] SPEAKER_01: We've had the never ending election in the United States,
[29:56] SPEAKER_01: which is still not clear as to how it's going to turn out.
[30:00] SPEAKER_01: And that's created a lot of fear, uncertainty,
[30:03] SPEAKER_01: and doubt, and confusion in people's minds.
[30:05] SPEAKER_01: And if you're a listener to this podcast
[30:08] SPEAKER_01: and you're feeling some of that fear,
[30:10] SPEAKER_01: that uncertainty, that doubt, that confusion,
[30:13] SPEAKER_01: here's what I want to say to you.
[30:15] SPEAKER_01: This is also a time that could be the greatest time ever
[30:22] SPEAKER_01: for you.
[30:23] SPEAKER_01: Because of this disruption, there are
[30:26] SPEAKER_01: new opportunities that wouldn't otherwise exist.
[30:30] SPEAKER_01: You have the ability to take advantage of those opportunities.
[30:35] SPEAKER_01: If you've got somebody to guide you,
[30:38] SPEAKER_01: if you've got somebody around you who can speak to you,
[30:42] SPEAKER_01: that can be possible for you.
[30:43] SPEAKER_01: And I want to make this offer.
[30:45] SPEAKER_01: This is a crazy offer to make on a podcast with such a wide
[30:48] SPEAKER_01: reach.
[30:48] SPEAKER_01: But I'm going to make this offer that if someone's listening
[30:51] SPEAKER_01: to this and you're either in business right now,
[30:54] SPEAKER_01: or you're seriously looking at getting a business,
[30:57] SPEAKER_01: so I'm not looking for you if you're just dabbling
[31:00] SPEAKER_01: or tighter kicking.
[31:01] SPEAKER_01: But if you're for real in business,
[31:02] SPEAKER_01: or for real looking at getting in business,
[31:05] SPEAKER_01: and you want to have a consultation with somebody,
[31:09] SPEAKER_01: and you want to just bring out all the fear, uncertainty,
[31:12] SPEAKER_01: doubt and confusion that's in you, and you want to think
[31:14] SPEAKER_01: about what are some ways that you can create next year
[31:17] SPEAKER_01: and make it rock for you?
[31:19] SPEAKER_01: I'm going to offer a complimentary success consultation
[31:25] SPEAKER_01: for you.
[31:26] SPEAKER_01: And all you got to do is go to my website,
[31:28] SPEAKER_01: e-circleacademy.com.
[31:31] SPEAKER_01: And in the top right hand corner on a desktop,
[31:35] SPEAKER_01: or right in the middle of the page on a mobile,
[31:37] SPEAKER_01: there's a button that says book your success call.
[31:42] SPEAKER_01: Go on there and book it, and then fill out the form
[31:45] SPEAKER_01: that comes after, because the form's
[31:46] SPEAKER_01: what's going to tell me if you're for real,
[31:48] SPEAKER_01: if you're serious or not, and say,
[31:50] SPEAKER_01: I listened to Kenneth's podcast with Celine Williams
[31:54] SPEAKER_01: when you made this offer.
[31:55] SPEAKER_01: And that's how I know you came from here.
[31:58] SPEAKER_01: And what I'm going to do is I'm going to do that call for you.
[32:00] SPEAKER_01: And it's free.
[32:01] SPEAKER_01: I will not charge you one penny for that call.
[32:04] SPEAKER_01: There is no catch.
[32:05] SPEAKER_01: There's no bait and switch.
[32:07] SPEAKER_01: It's not how I roll.
[32:08] SPEAKER_01: It's going to be a complimentary call.
[32:10] SPEAKER_01: Now, I'm also going to be straight with you.
[32:12] SPEAKER_01: If we have a great call, we're both feeling it,
[32:13] SPEAKER_01: and we think we should talk about doing some further work
[32:15] SPEAKER_01: together, we're going to do that.
[32:17] SPEAKER_01: But if we're not, we won't.
[32:19] SPEAKER_01: We 100% won't.
[32:21] SPEAKER_01: Just going to have a great conversation
[32:22] SPEAKER_01: to help make this happen for you.
[32:24] SPEAKER_01: And I really want to see you in, because you're an entrepreneur.
[32:27] SPEAKER_01: You're a society's greatest hero.
[32:29] SPEAKER_01: You're the man, you're the woman who's
[32:30] SPEAKER_01: got the courage, the gonads, the ovaries,
[32:34] SPEAKER_01: to put yourself out there to say, hey, I've got a dream.
[32:37] SPEAKER_01: I'm going to make it come true.
[32:38] SPEAKER_01: You have helped people, or you're looking to help people.
[32:41] SPEAKER_01: You've created a job.

[33:08] SPEAKER_01: We need to get to a million.
[33:09] SPEAKER_01: Now, personally, next year, I'm going to help
