How One Young Entrepreneur Built Multiple Businesses
Don't lie. It's pretty simple. It takes a lot of courage. Most importantly, don't lie to yourself
Rezwan Tanvin is an engineer by training who has become one of the most prolific young founders in this city. Most founders spend a lifetime chasing one idea. Rezwan has founded a music platform, a record label, a home-services business, a moving company, a FedEx centre, a Bangladeshi street-food brand, a private fund, even a Pakistani-jewelry store — all under one family he calls ‘Eller’ — and he’s now building a crowd-sourced scholarship platform for international students. What I find fascinating about Rezwan isn’t any single business — it’s the range, and the hunger behind it: a newcomer who builds wherever he sees a need, and is already turning it back to help the people coming up behind him. That’s a very particular kind of entrepreneur.
