Montreal entrepreneur Raphaël Gaspard is preparing for a cross-Canada motorcycle journey that blends storytelling, entrepreneurship and a search for meaning.
The founder of Gaspard Premier said the project, called “The Road to Happiness Journey,” will see him travel roughly 8,000 kilometres from Halifax to Tofino over three weeks beginning June 10.
Gaspard, who has been expanding his small-batch fragrance and skincare brand into select retail partners in Montreal and Toronto, said the trip reflects a broader shift in consumer interest toward niche, purpose-driven brands and mindful living. He plans to document the journey as a digital series shared on Instagram and YouTube, with a full-length documentary targeted for film festivals.
Along the route, Gaspard intends to interview entrepreneurs, artists and community members about their perspectives on happiness, while also capturing spontaneous conversations in everyday settings. He said the project is inspired by a formative cross-country hitchhiking experience in his youth and represents both a personal challenge and a creative legacy effort for his son.
The journey is supported by partners including Harley-Davidson, Foreign Rider and Sam James Coffee Bar, while Gaspard’s business operations continue under his team during his absence.
